The Cabinet highlighted the advanced projects of the Bahrain Defense Force, which strengthened its capabilities as a model for development and modernization. In this regard, the Cabinet noted the importance of the Royal Medical Services clinics at the Bahrain Defense Force Hospital in advancing medical and treatment services in the Kingdom, through its equipment, capabilities and modern technologies.
Following the devastating earthquake that struck the Syrian Arab Republic and the Republic of Turkey, the Cabinet expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to Syria and Turkey, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The Cabinet affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s solidarity with Syria and Turkey in overcoming this natural disaster.
During the meeting, the Council of Ministers discussed several memorandums with the following results:
Approval of the following notes:
1. A memorandum of the Executive Committee of the government regarding a proposal to develop a mechanism for submitting and preparing government draft laws.
2- The memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding draft laws that were prepared based on proposals for laws submitted by the Representatives and Shura Councils, which remain with the Representatives and Shura Councils after the term ends. The fourth session of the fifth legislative term.
The Cabinet reviewed the progress of work in implementing the Al-Fateh Road development project, which is part of the traffic projects in the Kingdom, and their completion rates. The Council was also briefed on the preparations of ministries and government agencies to celebrate the twenty-second anniversary of the National Action Charter.
The Council of Ministers then took note of the ministerial reports related to the following:
– External exchanges, engagements and external participations for the month of February 2023
– The visit paid by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates to the Kingdom of Bahrain
– The visit paid by the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Republic of Sudan and Hungary
– The visit of the Minister of Oil and Environment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The participation of the Minister of Health in the Arab Health Exhibition and Conference 2023
– The visit made by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments to the Ministry of Justice in the United Arab Emirates and to Dubai Courts.
– The visit by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the meeting held with the Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, participation in the Saudi Municipal Investment Forum “Foras”, as well as the visit of the Minister. To the United Arab Emirates to review the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program
