His Royal Highness affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to improving the quality of medical services provided to citizens and residents, in line with the comprehensive development Bahrain is witnessing, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Highness referred to the important role played by partnerships between the public and private sectors in enhancing the sustainability of health care services provided to citizens and promoting health well-being.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad praised the continuous development of the Bahrain Defense Force, its extensive efforts in protecting the Kingdom and its citizens, and its commitment to protecting the national achievements and interests.
His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, continued to stress the long-term role of the Bahrain Defense Force in providing high-quality health care services to citizens, praising the efforts of the administrative and medical professional staff in contributing to the advancement of the Kingdom. healthcare sector.
His Royal Highness unveiled a commemorative plaque on the occasion of the opening of the RMS Clinics, and was presented with a souvenir by the Commandant of the RMS on the occasion.
His Highness toured the building, and was briefed on the departments, units and practices of medicine in Republika Srpska. After that, His Highness met with a group of consultant doctors, medical professionals and executive supervisors in the Bahrain Defense Force, in addition to a number of participants who contributed to the implementation of the project.
RMS Commander Major General Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa also gave a speech to celebrate the new opening of the new RMS building. In his speech, he expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for the opening of the medical building, which coincides with the fifty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defense Force.
Major General Professor Sheikh Khaled bin Ali also gave an overview of RMS’s achievements over the years, including the many prestigious international accreditations that RMS has obtained and the newly opened building that features the latest technology in medical equipment.
The RMS clinic building is spread over an area of 51,000 square metres. The new building consists of 6 floors consisting of 14 consulting clinics, primary health care clinics, Banoon ART Center and Cytogenetics for assisted reproductive technology, in addition to 265 consulting rooms, 3 pharmacies, 8 sample collection rooms and a number of x-ray rooms.
