Manama, July 10 (BNA): INJAZ Bahrain successfully concluded the fifteenth annual Young Entrepreneurs Competition, which was held at the Gulf Hotel Bahrain on July 9 and 10.


Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, the competition brought together 120 students from 10 secondary schools and 10 universities across Bahrain.


The event witnessed remarkable entrepreneurial spirit as students showcased their innovative ideas and business acumen, competing for prestigious titles such as “University Company of the Year 2023” and “High School Company of the Year 2023.” In addition, awards have been presented for “University Product of the Year 2023”, “High School Product of the Year 2023”, “University Company of Best Social Impact 2023”, and “High School Company of Best Social Impact 2023”, recognizing the best corporate contributions. student participation.


This year, the competition also presented six distinguished awards to highlight exceptional achievements. These include the “Best Kiosk and Brand Award” by Al Salam Bank, the “Innovation Award” by BBK, the “Technology Excellence Award” by Bapco, the “ESG Excellence Award” by the National Bank of Bahrain, and the “Best Financial Performance” by Tamkeen and “Emerging CEO Award” by Al Khaliji. The event was sponsored by Boeing and Tamkeen as Platinum Sponsors, Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) and Batelco as Gold Sponsors, Al Salam Bank, Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Al Khaliji and National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) as Signature Sponsors.


Distinguished individuals have served as judges in both the high school track and the university track, including representatives from notable organizations including Ahmed Al Sharaf from Tamkeen, Lulwa Al Murbati from Batelco, Ms. Dalia Al Ansari from Bank and Abdullah. Janahi from Bahrain Airport Company in the high school track. INJAZ Bahrain also hosted the Signature Awards Jury. Highlighting the brightest entrepreneurs in Bahrain, and among the winners this year:
“N3ma” from the “American School of Bahrain” won the “High School Company of the Year 2023” award, and “Fornature” from the “Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance” won the “University Company of the Year 2023” award.


WYAK from Modern Knowledge Schools won the “High School Product of the Year 2023” award, and “JusTap” from the British University in Bahrain was awarded “University Product of the Year 2023”.


“Nomu” from “Ibn Khaldun National School” won the “Best School with a Social Impact 2023” award, and “Foss” from the “University of Bahrain” won the “Best University with a Social Impact 2023” award.


“Senegal” from Al Falah Schools won the “Best Kiosk and Brand” award sponsored by Al Salam Bank.


Street Pump from Jidhafs Technical Secondary School for Boys won the Innovation Award sponsored by BBK.


“WYAK” from the “Modern Knowledge Schools” won the “Excellence in Technology” award sponsored by Bapco.


JusTap from the British University of Bahrain won the ‘Excellence in Environmental and Social Management’ award sponsored by the National Bank of Bahrain.


Rethink from the American University of Bahrain won the “Best Financial Performance” award sponsored by Tamkeen.


Zain Al-Madani from Ibn Khaldun National School won the “Gulf Rising CEO Award” sponsored by Khaleeji.


Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, praised the institution as a pioneering force in supporting Bahraini youth in their entrepreneurial journeys.
