RAP, Alia for Early Intervention review cooperation

Manama, June 13 (BNA): The Commander of the Royal Police College, Brigadier General Fawaz Hassan Al-Hassan, visited the Alia Early Intervention Center.


Alia Early Intervention Center is an autism center established by the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral and Communication Disorders.


The leader was briefed on the various departments of the center, including the Occupational Therapy Department and the Intensive Learning Department, which focuses on training the child to complete tasks on his own without assistance.


Some activities were presented in terms of providing children with work skills to integrate them into the labor market in the future.


Brigadier General Al-Hassan praised the center’s role and efforts in caring for autistic children and integrating them into society.


The visit aims to identify the role of the center in providing intensive and comprehensive educational and behavioral services according to scientifically approved procedures.


He discussed the possibilities of training the academy’s members to deal with cases of autism, and reviewed the possibility of cooperation with the center in implementing the summer camp program.


High Director of Early Intervention, Sheikha Rania bint Ali Al Khalifa, expressed her appreciation for the leader’s interest, stressing her keenness to increase cooperation with the academy.
