Manama, June 13 (BNA): Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Serafi, Minister of Tourism, affirmed that the national plan to enhance the spirit of belonging to the homeland and the values of citizenship (Bahrain) represents a national platform to promote stability and prosperity. In Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister was speaking during the joint meeting between the Ministry of Tourism, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and the Executive Office of the national plan to enhance the spirit of belonging to the homeland and the values of citizenship.
During the discussion of joint tourism initiatives, the three parties reviewed the promotion of the Hawar Islands and the introduction of tourism activities in Bahrain through the Bahrain Calendar and Tourism App.
The minister praised Bahrain’s goal of promoting national values with the support of Major General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Committee to Follow up the Implementation of the National Plan.
She stressed that these initiatives and programs fall within the objectives of Bahrain, which affirm the preservation of the values, customs and traditions of the original Bahraini society and the consolidation of the principles of national identity, loyalty, tolerance and pride in our country. Arab and Islamic heritage, basic ingredients of the Bahraini national identity.
Al-Serafi stressed the importance of cooperation between the government and the private sector in achieving comprehensive development goals and promoting the values of national identity.
