The BIBF Holds its Second Board Meeting of 2023

Manama, July 11 (BNA): The Board of Directors of the Bahrain Institute for Banking and Financial Studies held its second annual meeting for this year, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain. Bahrain and Chairman of the Board.

The meeting was attended by members of the Board of Directors and the executive management, headed by the CEO, Dr. Ahmed Abdel Hamid Al-Sheikh, to discuss the agenda items and the executive work plan of the institute.

The meeting discussed the institute’s outstanding achievements during the second quarter of the year, including the formation of nine strategic partnerships with prestigious international and local institutions, the provision of more than 4,000 training courses in various fields of business, and the design of more than 300 specialized training programs.

The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors praised the Institute’s outstanding performance, including achieving specific key performance indicators and launching BIBF into the metaverse as the first educational institution in Bahrain to enter this virtual world.

They also commended BIBF undergraduate students for winning first place in three prestigious national competitions.

The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors stressed the importance of continuing to provide the best training programs to keep pace with the dynamic needs of the financial sector, and the meeting focused on the importance of selecting training programs compatible with economic developments to provide appropriate training for the financial sector. The meeting also discussed the institute’s future plans and programs, including the provision of leadership succession planning programs to prepare and qualify the second category of administrative leaders according to the criteria of creativity and innovation.
