Manama, July 25 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, carried out four joint inspection campaigns in the capital, north and south governorates.
The inspection included a number of shops and work sites, in continuation of a series of intensive campaigns to ensure the implantation of labor and residence market laws.
The authority stated that two joint inspection campaigns were carried out with the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior in the capital and the southern governorates, while the third campaign was carried out in the northern governorate in partnership with the Directorate of Execution of Sentences.
The fourth campaign was implemented in the Southern Governorate in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Governorate Police Directorate.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority stated that the inspection campaigns resulted in reporting a number of violations related to the labor market and residence law in Bahrain, noting that legal measures were taken in this regard.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority renews its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies to address illegal practices in the labor market and irregular employment, by reporting violations via the electronic form on the authority’s website or by calling the authority’s call center.
