Manama, July 20 (BNA): The President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, received James Holmes, Secretary General of the International Communities Organization (ICO), and Sadeeqa Masoud Ahmed, Director of Strategic Business Development at the International University of Management.
The meeting reviewed the mechanism of the National Institution for Human Rights to monitor human rights in the Kingdom and its vital role in providing advice to the government to fulfill its international and domestic obligations in the field of human rights.
They also discussed conducting educational programs in the field of human rights for all sectors of society.
The Secretary-General of the World Trade Organization praised the role of the National Institution for Human Rights in promoting and protecting human rights, and wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity.
