Manama, July 5 (BNA): Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh welcomed the results of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the United Kingdom.
He stressed the importance of the visit in strengthening the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, citing its positive results in the political, economic and cultural fields, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al-Saleh said that the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the United Kingdom confirms the keenness to deepen the existing bilateral partnership to serve common interests and protect regional and global security and stability.
The Shura Speaker highlighted the economic initiatives and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries during the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, indicating that they will contribute to strengthening bilateral cooperation and exchanging experiences.
Al-Saleh indicated that the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reflects his keenness to continue high-level communication with various countries and to develop partnerships and cooperation with them.
He added that His Highness’s visit provided an opportunity to discuss the latest regional and global developments, as well as exchange ideas and views on issues of common interest, which confirms the Kingdom’s policy of establishing its political and economic relations with other countries to achieve this goal. It would bring great positive results.
Al-Saleh pointed out that the official visits of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister contributed to achieving many diplomatic and political gains for the Kingdom.
He affirmed the Shura Council’s keenness to support the efforts of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in strengthening Bahrain’s role in dealing with global issues, in a way that contributes to maintaining regional and international stability and security, enhancing peace efforts and supporting development prospects.
