Bahrain, Finland hold third round of political consultations

Manama, July 12 (BNA): The Kingdom hosted today the third round of political consultations between Bahrain and Finland.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, and Sophie Frome Emissberger, Director General of the Africa and Middle East Department of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed praised the strong relations between Bahrain and Finland, stressing that the steady growth of bilateral relations over the past four decades reflects the two countries’ keenness to enhance cooperation and partnership in the political, economic and cultural fields, as well as support global efforts to consolidate security, stability and peace in the Middle East and the world. .

Sophie Frome Imsberger expressed her country’s pride in the progress made in its political and economic partnership with Bahrain, and its appreciation for its initiatives to promote a culture of peace and tolerance, in addition to encouraging dialogue between countries and peoples. And wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
