National Guard President patronizes Al-Badr-7 ceremony

Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): The National Guard concluded today the joint exercise “Al-Badr 7”, which it conducted with the Pakistani army.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief of the National Guard, patronized the ceremony, which took place amid celebrations of the 26th anniversary of the founding of the National Guard.


The ceremony was also attended by the Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force, Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, the Director General of Training and Evaluation in the Pakistani Army, the Inspector General, Lieutenant General Muhammad Chirag Haider, and a number of officers.

The senior officers were received by Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, accompanied by the Director of Staff of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa.


During the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa awarded the Military Service Medal of the first and second degree for officers and non-commissioned officers of the National Guard, according to Royal Decree No. (46) of 2022.

His Highness also handed over the Championship of the Chief of the National Guard for Shooting to Lieutenant Colonel His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Commander of the Special Operations Unit.


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the 26th anniversary.


He also extended his congratulations to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the royal patronage that His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, accorded to the National Guard to enhance its readiness and capabilities to perform its duties in maintaining Bahrain’s security and stability.


He expressed his pride in the levels of development and modernization that the National Guard has reached, according to strategic plans that included all its leadership, training, operational and logistical sectors, to be a preventive force for the achievements and gains of the prosperous era. His Majesty.


He pointed out that “Al-Badr anti-terrorism exercises reflect advanced levels of military cooperation with the Pakistani army in accordance with the protocols signed between the two sides to raise levels of readiness and exchange experiences.”


He praised the success of the joint exercise “Al-Badr 7”, congratulating the participating forces from the National Guard and the Pakistani army for their accuracy and high efficiency in carrying out the exercises.
