NAO’s Assistant Auditor General obtains Anti Bribery and Corruption certificate

Manama, September 21 (BNA) The Auditor-General, Sheikh Ahmed bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, congratulated the Assistant Auditor General for Administrative Audit, Dr. Issa Al-Nuaimi, on obtaining an anti-bribery and anti-corruption certificate from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists in the United States. American States (ACAMS).


Sheikh Ahmed stressed the keenness of the National Audit Bureau to develop the capabilities of its employees and support them to obtain internationally recognized professional qualifications, which was reflected in the quality of performance and services provided.


Dr. Al-Nuaimi highlighted the human, technical and logistical capabilities of the Bureau, stressing that the Bureau will continue to invest in human cadres and national competencies through training and developing their professional and technical capabilities.


He pointed out that there is a continuous need for development, modernization and the introduction of new programs to keep pace with the latest global developments in the field of auditing, especially with regard to training to provide employees with the required skills.


The Assistant Auditor General encouraged all employees to take advantage of the support and opportunities offered by the National Office of Financial Supervision to obtain professional qualifications from internationally accredited institutions.
