Muscat, September 21 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal participated in the 16th regular meeting of the heads of the Shura Councils, the House of Representatives, the Federal National Council and the National Assembly in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Zainal stressed that cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries is an important part of the Bahraini national identity.
She praised the historical relations between all members, which reflect the sincere will to continue working to achieve progress in the political and economic fields and raise the level of partnership towards major issues related to security, stability, sustainable development, combating terrorism and extremism, and spreading tolerance and peace.
