Manama, June 30 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani praised the efforts of the House of Representatives in promoting democracy and parliamentary achievements in local, regional and international forums.
On the International Day of Parliament, Al Zayani praised the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also expressed his appreciation to the Shura Council and the House of Representatives for their cooperation in formulating the National Human Rights Action Plan (2022-2026) and their follow-up on its implementation in line with international human rights covenants and covenants.
The Minister also praised the democratic and parliamentary achievements made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of His Majesty the King’s comprehensive sustainable development process and with the support of His Highness the Crown Prince, which contributed greatly to the protection of rights and the independence of the legislative, executive and judicial branches.
