What is a mid-market digital sales manager
Mid-market Digital Sales Executive is a Digital Sales Executive responsible for developing incremental revenue within his assigned area primarily through channel partners, in the Small and Medium Market segment. Fully accountable for his area coverage, demand generation, forecasting, closing, planning and strategy, customer/partner satisfaction, and works closely with various stakeholders to bring business value and innovation to its clients and prospects.

What does a mid-market digital sales executive’s day look like?

demand generation
Proactively engage with clients and partners to understand their needs and proactively position our solution portfolio.
Plan and execute the request to address the area plan and ensure proper coverage in collaboration with key stakeholders
Qualify leads, progress through the sales cycle. Take advantage of the partner identification matrix and engage with key stakeholders to select partners and support partner bidding and pricing.

pipeline management
Manage and close deals to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets along with partners.
Use our digital sales movement to effectively interact with customers and partners.
Work with pre-sales, solution sales, industry experts, channel partners and other key stakeholders in executing deals as needed
Lead the opportunity management of the volume and value of opportunities. Focus on ensuring customer needs are understood and addressed in the sales process.
Maintaining accuracy of CRM data for pipeline management and customer intelligence

Focus Area – Develop a deep understanding of the solution and process in assigned solution areas
In addition to on-the-job training as provided by the Commercial Sales Manager, the CSE must improve his/her sales skills according to the various dimensions as defined by the SAP Trade Sales Career Advancement Framework.
