Job purpose

The Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator supports the implementation of hotel programs, including food and beverage, spa and event management for hotel events. It also serves to communicate public relations awareness of the hotel as well as facilitate administrative matters for the marketing communications department.

Basic Responsibilities

Supports hotel, food and beverage, spa, event and event management coordination

Drafting news releases on hotel promotions, new executive dates, spa offers and all hotel activities of news interest.
Identifies target media and oversees timely processing and dispatch of press releases.
Maintains media listings for both local and international markets.
Maintains and updates press releases and executive resumes.
Assists in organizing media information trips and media-hosted stays.
Facilitating media requests for interviews and investigations.
Maintains good working relationships with local and international media.
– Arranges VIP photography and maintains the Hall of Fame and archives.
Monitors news coverage and circulates it internally.

Supports food and beverage marketing campaigns

Supports and implements marketing, promotion and communications plans for selected food and beverage outlets, as specified.
Develop digital and social media content for select food and beverage outlets, working closely with the digital marketing team to increase awareness and effectiveness.
Facilitates photography of selected food and beverage outlets to support promotions.
Supports the development of warranties for selected F&B outlets

Supports spa marketing campaigns

Works closely with marketing colleagues on spa marketing campaigns.
Supports the development of spa guarantees in line with marketing plans and promotions.

Supports the coordination and implementation of event management

Coordinates with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to coordinate and support events and promotions for hotels and resorts.

Provide administrative support

Coordinates public relations reports for all incoming media coverage of the hotel.
– Operations of quotations and invoices for the department.
– Facilitates hotel patronage and gift voucher application.
Provide general administrative support to the team.

Profile personly

Knowledge and experience

– Minimum holder of a diploma or its equivalent and above or its equivalent
At least 2 years of experience in Marketing Communications/Public Relations. Experience in the retail industry is an advantage.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.
Basic working knowledge of Adobe software. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop is an advantage. Efficiency in simple video editing is an advantage.
Oral fluency in English and Mandarin with written excellence in English. Ability to speak another language and/or basic understanding of other languages ​​is an advantage.
