Manama, May 1 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council and Commander of the Royal Guard, received a congratulatory cable from the unified military commander of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Lieutenant General Eid bin Eid bin. Awad Al-Shalawi, following the issuance of an order from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to promote His Highness to the rank of lieutenant general.
The unified military commander of the GCC countries extended his sincere congratulations to Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Nasser, wishing him continued success in serving the progress march that the Kingdom is witnessing under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
