Manama, May 18 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam received Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The President affirmed the joint parliamentary keenness of the House of Representatives and the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates to continue developing relations.
Al-Musallam emphasized the historical relations and the growing Bahraini-Emirati relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
He praised the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, in promoting cooperation in various fields.
The ambassador praised the levels of cooperation and remarkable progress in the two countries.
He expressed his appreciation to the Speaker of Parliament for the parliamentary efforts in supporting the development of bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
