Manama, October 10 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has taken legal measures against a number of illegal workers and establishments.
This restriction came in the wake of a joint inspection campaign in the Southern Governorate in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the Ministry of Interior and the Southern Governorate Police Directorate.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of several crimes related to violations of the laws of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and Immigration, and a number of arrests were made.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority affirmed its commitment to report violations by implementing an intensive and continuous action plan in various governorates, in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
She noted the importance of the community’s role in supporting the government’s efforts, calling on the public to report any complaints related to labor market violations and irregular employment, by calling the authority’s call center 17506055.
