Cairo, October 10 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan met her Saudi counterpart Fahd bin Abdulrahman Al-Jalajil and stressed the strong bilateral relations in all sectors.
The meeting came on the sidelines of the 69th session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean, held in Cairo, Egypt.
The two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation to achieve common health goals.
Dr. Hassan has a pivotal Saudi role in supporting health cooperation tracks at the Gulf, Arab and international levels.
The Saudi minister stressed the importance of continuing joint cooperation, praising the efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of supporting research and studies at the regional and global levels.
