LMRA, NPRA, Muharraq Police Directorate continue series of inspection campaigns on labour gathering sites

Manama, October 14 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority continues a series of inspection campaigns on commercial establishments, work sites and labor gathering sites in various governorates of the Kingdom, as part of its plan to strengthen supervision and control over the labor market. Organizing and tightening control over violators.


The authority carried out a joint inspection campaign in the Muharraq Governorate in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the Ministry of Interior and the Muharraq Governorate Police Directorate, which included a number of work sites and labor gathering sites.


The campaign resulted in the discovery of a number of violations related to the provisions of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority Law and the Residency Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the arrest of a number of employers and workers violating regulations and laws. Legal deportation measures are being taken.


The authority works in partnership with the Ministry of Interior and various government agencies to intensify efforts and procedures that enhance the activation of regulatory tools in order to achieve stability, justice, flexibility and competitiveness in the labor market and contribute to the elimination of illegal practices by tightening control over violations committed by employers and expatriate workers.


The Labor Market Regulatory Authority renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies to address illegal practices in the labor market and illegal workers to protect society as a whole, calling on the public to report any complaints related to violations.
