Leicester moves off the bottom of EPL after Palace draw

London, October 15 (BNA) Leicester missed an opportunity to get out of the last three places in the English Premier League with a goalless draw at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

But one point was enough to move him from the bottom ahead of Nottingham Forest on goal difference – even if temporarily, according to the Associated Press.

At the start of the day at King Power Stadium, Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers recognized this was an opportunity to pull his side out of the relegation zone with a win.

And with Wolverhampton and Forrest meeting on Saturday as well, it was a chance to take advantage of the head-to-head rivalries of their closest rivals.

The result means Leicester can still finish the day at the bottom of the table to keep the pressure on Rodgers.
