WSP Middle East is currently looking for a Principal Architect for Vertical Transmission to provide technical leadership for the PMC Tall Building Projects in NEOM.
Your new role, what is your role?
* Support the successful delivery of high quality vertical transportation projects on time and budgets
*Manage high-quality vertical transportation designs, which mainly focus on elevator and escalator systems inside large buildings in accordance with relevant standards and authority requirements, from concept to tender
* Perform required checks and reviews of teams’ own designs, including site visits
* Supervise, coordinate and support engineers and CAD technicians in the Middle East and India.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Engineering degree with at least 10 years experience designing vertical transportation systems in tall buildings
* PMC experience in the Middle East, preferably in high-rise projects over 300m in height
* Experience in monitoring the performance of technical standards
* Perform a supervisory role including checking time charges
* Ability to interpret project requirements and procedures
* Experience in leadership and supervision as a technical specialist on projects
* Ability to coordinate multiple activities in a logical and orderly manner
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with clients, consultants, contractors and colleagues
* Ability to work in a disciplined manner with little supervision
* Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases)
