Work summary
The Construction Logistics Manager will work as part of the customer representative/PMC team under FIDIC contract with a third party supervising the “Engineer of Record”, for all matters relating to construction progress management, sequencing, schedule, quality and SH&E Much of the candidates’ time will be spent on site in On-site logistics leadership.

Monitor the work of all site operations for the contractor(s).
Ultimately responsible and accountable for establishing the sector in terms of safety, quality, budget schedule and workforce
Selects, manages and directs the construction management team in order to achieve objectives in terms of safety, quality, budget and schedule
Ensure project integrity, quality standards and adherence to environmental programs at all times
Maintain excellent relationships with clients and their representatives
– Organizes and leads meetings
– Monitor the project base program and work progress including important dates. Take corrective actions with the engineer and contractor to lead to completion.
Monitor contractor progress and assist in preparing client progress reports.
-Assist in weekly progress review, SH&E meetings and other progress meetings held on site.
Recommending acceptance of the completed work for the client after receiving it from the engineer.
Communicate with the project manager and site management team on an ongoing basis regarding project progress on site.
Review weekly and monthly reports submitted by the contractor regarding non-compliance comments, areas of concern and corrective actions.
Ongoing visits to the project site to monitor site activities with regard to quality, safety and progress and advise managers’ representatives on results, area of concern and corrective actions.
Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering or project/construction management
– 20 years experience
The candidate must have consulting experience
Good understanding of labor output
Experience with business methodologies and sequencing
Strong experience in the field of SH&E
Understand all major construction activities
Strong experience in construction logistics
