Manama, September 22 (BNA) A conference will be held next October under the title “Right Dialogue in Times of Crisis” in cooperation with the International Labor Organization.
The event is being held by the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions under the auspices of the Minister of Labor and Social Development Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan.
The minister received the Secretary-General of the General Federation of Bahrain Trade Unions, Abdul Qader Al Shehabi, and his deputy, Hassan Abdullah Al-Halwaji, and they discussed labor issues and efforts to promote the tripartite dialogue.
They also discussed the implementation of recent legislation and Main Law Decree No. 21 of 2021 regulating the labor market and Decree 16 of 2021 on the prohibition of wage discrimination.
The conference will highlight the harmful impact of the epidemic on the labor market and efforts to mitigate its repercussions on economic and social stability and jobs.
