Information Minister hails Saudi pivotal role

Manama, September 22 (BNA) Ali bin Muhammad Al-Rumaihi, Minister of Information and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development, praised the wise approach followed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since its establishment nine decades ago.

He praised the pivotal Saudi role, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as the cornerstone of regional security and stability, praising its honorable history in supporting Arab national issues.

In a statement to Okaz newspaper, he said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Arab and Islamic countries join the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in celebrating its 91st National Day, in appreciation of its religious and historical history. A critical position and role in maintaining Gulf and Arab security, supporting Arab and Islamic causes, and contributing to global stability and economy.

Al-Rumaihi said that the long-term bilateral relations linking Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are a model for deep-rooted historical and strategic relations, stressing the common concern to maintain security and stability.

He highlighted common visions and positions regarding regional and international issues, in appreciation of the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.

He praised the steadily growing relations, praising the efforts of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
