Manama, June 27 (BNA) The Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received today the Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, Rida Ibrahim Al-Manfaridi.
Al-Manfaridi congratulated the minister on his appointment by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to his position, wishing him success in performing his duties.
Minister Al-Asfour praised the important role played by the Shura Council in serving the country and the citizen by strengthening cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities.
He also highlighted the services provided by the Ministry of Social Development to various social segments in the areas of social development and protection for the benefit of citizens.
The Shura Council member praised the efforts of the Ministry of Social Development, stressing the importance of the development projects it is implementing in order to provide the best services to Bahraini individuals and families in a way that guarantees them the requirements of a decent and safe living.
