Manama, September 13 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Khalifa received the President of the Bahrain Badel Federation, Fahd Fawzi Kanoo, in the presence of the Vice President of the General Sports Authority, His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the CEO, Dr. Abdulrahman Askar.
The meeting was held within the framework of His Highness’ interest in supporting the federations and following their development to achieve more achievements in the sports sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness received a report from Fahad Fawzi Kanoo on the work of the Federation. He stressed the importance of the federation to focus in the next stage on continuing to develop and organize the Badel game in Bahrain.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa issued Resolution No. 12 regarding the reappointment of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Sadat Federation in its current session 2021-2024.
According to the decision, the board of directors, headed by Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo, will be reappointed. Its members include Youssef Abdullah Muhammad Juma’a, Muhammad Khamis Ali Al-Rumaihi, Habib Jawad Habib Al-Khayyat, Khaled Mahmoud Al-Rayes, Ali Ibrahim Abdul Rahim Sharif, Ali Khalifa Khaled Al-Matar, and Muhammad Abdullah Abdul-Malik.
The CEO of the General Sports Authority and the Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee shall implement the decision and it shall come into force from the date of its issuance.
