Manama, September 13 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, received the Minister of Information Affairs, Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, and discussed issues of common concern.
They stressed the need to shed light mainly on the achievements of Bahraini women in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince. And the prime minister.
They highlighted the fruitful efforts made by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women.
During the meeting, Al-Ansari stressed the importance of intensifying cooperation in joint projects to ensure the sustainable participation of Bahraini women in the media sector.
She highlighted the media support for the plans, programs and initiatives of the Supreme Council for Women within the framework of the national plan for the development of Bahraini women and their impact on the position of the Kingdom of Bahrain as a leading country in the advancement of women.
The head of the Supreme Council for Women wished the minister success in assuming his duties. Dr. Al-Nuaimi praised the national role of the Supreme Council for Women headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Khalifa in supporting Bahraini women and maintaining family stability.
He stressed the ministry’s keenness to strengthen partnership with the council, in appreciation of the importance of women’s and family issues.
