Bahrain Islamic Index marks higher

Manama, March 27 (BNA): Bahrain’s general index closed at 1,878.41 points, down by 14.18 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the industry and materials sector.

The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 655.93 points, an increase of 0.49 points from the previous close.

The results indicated that 167 transactions were made on property rights with a volume of 2,258,999, with a value of 1,804,398 Bahraini Dinars.

Investors trade mainly in the materials sector, accounting for 91.48% of the total value of securities traded.
