Barcelona, July 4 (BNA) Ivory Coast midfielder Frank Kessie joined Barcelona on a free transfer after leaving Milan, LaLiga football club announced on Monday.
Barcelona said Casey has signed a contract until June 2026 and the buy-out clause will be set at 500 million euros ($522.80 million), according to Reuters.
The 25-year-old left Milan at the end of his contract in June after helping the Italian club win their first Serie A title in 11 years last season.
Casey, who can contribute both in attack and in defense, has 58 caps with Ivory Coast.
Barcelona came second in La Liga last season, behind rivals Real Madrid.
