Manama, July 4 (BNA) The Labor Market Regulatory Authority implemented an inspection campaign targeting a number of work sites in the Southern Governorate.
The campaign was coordinated with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs of the Ministry of Interior and the Southern Governorate.
The campaign resulted in raising many crimes related to violations of the law of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority and the Immigration Authority, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
The campaigns reflect the ongoing efforts of the Labor Market Regulatory Authority, the Ministry of Interior and other government departments to improve the work environment.
It also reflects the Labor Market Regulatory Authority’s close monitoring of practices that affect competitiveness, flexibility and fairness in the labor market, not to mention their negative impact on social security.
The authority stressed the pivotal role of society in supporting the government’s efforts in maintaining economic, social, security and health stability.
In addition, the public has been urged to report any abuses in the labor market and irregular migrant workers.
