Justice Minister honors winners of Holy Quran contest

Manama, October 5 (BNA) The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Muhammad Al-Maawda, praised the honorable results achieved by Bahraini contestants in the international Holy Quran competitions, thanks to their sponsorship and support. His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He was speaking while honoring in his office today Fahd Adnan Fakhro, who won second place in memorizing and interpreting the Holy Qur’an in the King Mohammed VI International Competition for the Memorization of the Holy Qur’an, which was recently hosted by Morocco with the participation of more than 60 contestants representing 40 countries.

The Minister, who won the fifth place internationally in the recitation of the Noble Qur’an in the same competition, also honored Hamza Moaz. He also honored Sheikh Muhammad Ateeq and Sheikh Ali Salah for their efforts in teaching the Noble Qur’an to the contestants.
