Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): The Jaafari Endowments celebrated Bahraini Women’s Day under the auspices of the Council’s Chairman, Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh, with the participation of the members of the Council and the Director of the Jaafari Endowments, Muhammad Jaafar Ali Al-Husseini.
Al-Saleh expressed his deep appreciation for the achievements of Bahraini women under the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
“The Supreme Council for Women announced the theme of Bahraini Women’s Day for the next stage, which is the renewed achievements of Bahraini women under the umbrella of the main slogan of the occasion, “I read – I learned – I participated,” and it is a topic that stems from the first and early stage of Bahraini women, and their promising and ambitious participation continues.
“We are proud of the great achievements that Bahraini women have achieved locally, in the Arab world and internationally, and we are proud of the important role that Bahraini women play in various fields, especially in management. Women have left a great imprint in their activity and work.”
During the ceremony, distinguished female employees were honored.
