Information Ministry committed to outstanding celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day

Manama, November 18 (BNA) The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Ministry of Information reviewed the latest preparations and arrangements for the celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day 2021.

The Ministry is fully committed to the distinguished celebration of the advanced status of Bahraini women in Bahrain and their empowerment in all sectors thanks to the directives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council. For Women (SCW).

“The annual celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day is a great opportunity to recognize their achievements, achievements, and contributions to the nation-building process,” said the Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television, Abdullah Khalid Al-Dosari.

“The ministry is particularly keen to devote its assets and capabilities to highlighting women’s success in all sectors,” she added.

He pointed out that the ministry is preparing a series of audio, video and printed reports on the high status of women and the inevitable progress they have achieved in all sectors, supported by examples, numbers and statistics.

In January, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka approved “Bahraini Women in National Development… A March for Progress in a Dedicated Homeland” as the theme for Bahraini Women’s Day 2021.

The Supreme Council for Women said that the issue reflects the rooted presence of Bahraini women in the nation-building process, and its gradual progress in parallel with the development of the modern civil state in Bahrain, on the basis of justice and equality of rights between all citizens, men and men. Women.

These values ​​are the basis for the work of the “Supreme Council for Women” as part of its commitment to support the royal vision of women’s partnership in nation building.
