Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): Information Minister Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi received Chairman and members of the Bahrain Intellectual Property Society. He praised the community’s efforts to raise social awareness of the importance of intellectual property rights, as part of Bahrain’s efforts to protect them as an inherent right stipulated in the Kingdom’s laws.
The minister stressed the importance of raising awareness of intellectual property rights in promoting research and development, especially in the field of media and technical production.
The president of the association expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Information for his interest in strengthening community partnership and promoting a culture of intellectual property rights. She stressed the key role played by the Ministry of Information in this regard.
