Manama, Apr. 6 (BNA): Youth Minister Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi received the head of the Bahraini Sickle Cell Society, Zakaria Ibrahim Al-Kadhim.
The meeting discussed cooperation in organizing joint programmes.
The minister praised the community’s keenness to organize events and programs that contribute to spreading health awareness while strengthening partnership with various governments, private sectors and institutions.
She emphasized the Ministry’s continuous contributions and annual programs that support and encourage youth in various fields.
The minister was briefed on the Society’s (Whisper of Hope) festival in its eighth edition.
Al-Kazem thanked the minister for her care and support. Stressing the importance of cooperation and support for patients in various fields.
