Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): The National Arts Council held a meeting with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the US Embassy.

His Highness, Minister of Youth, Rawan Najeeb Tawfiqi, Vice President of the National Council for the Arts, His Highness Sheikh Turki bin Rashid bin Isa Al Khalifa, member of the Council, Sheikha Dawa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and the press and cultural attache, Linda McMullen, attended the event. .

They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between them in the artistic fields and the opportunities available to organize joint activities that contribute to motivating young people to join the field of art, encouraging young people to invest in the arts, supporting artistic talents, as well as refining and highlighting their skills and spreading awareness of the importance of arts and their impact on society among young people.

The meeting also focused on setting general frameworks for Bahraini youth to meet with their counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries to exchange technical expertise of all kinds and benefit from experiences in this field, as well as improving the artistic work system and providing various ways to achieve this. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Embassy of the United States of America are organizing a joint event under the name “The Next Level”, as part of the Kingdom’s celebrations of its national holidays.

As part of the event, artists from the United States and Bahrain painted murals and street art on one of the kingdom’s streets. The painted murals will seek to promote noble goals, including celebrating the Kingdom’s national holidays and spreading the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence and peace.

Several American artists are currently in Bahrain to take part in the Next Level event.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs has completed all procedures to ensure the success of the event, in which Bahraini and American youth will participate.
