Manama, Feb. 12 (BNA): Under the auspices of the Minister of Industry and Trade, and in the presence of the Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Development, Dr. Khaled Fahd Al-Alawi, and the head of the factory, Mr. Hayel Abdul Moeen Hakimi, the Al Taawun Foodstuff Factory. It was opened in Salman Industrial City
Dr. Al-Alawi stressed that Bahrain welcomes all investments that contribute to economic growth and provides facilities to enhance the Kingdom’s investment position, according to the industrial sector strategy (2022-2026) and within the economic recovery plan that aims to increase the industrial sector. Contributing to the gross domestic product, national exports, as well as creating promising job opportunities for citizens.
The Undersecretary praised the local industrial development that contributes to the diversification of food industries in the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the Bahraini investment environment, and stressing the efforts made to encourage local investments to serve the local, regional and global market.
Hayel Al-Hakimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Taawun Factory for Foodstuffs, appreciated the support of the Government of Bahrain and the investment environment it provides, noting the role of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in strengthening partnership with the private sector, which increases its effectiveness. Contribute to the gross domestic product and support it for the national economy.
