Industry Minister meets with Cypriot officials

Manama, September 13 (BNA) Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani stressed the importance of strengthening relations between Bahrain and Cyprus to promote development in the two countries, especially in the industrial and commercial fields.

He was speaking during his meeting today with the Cypriot Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry, Natasha Pelaides, who was accompanying the Cypriot president Nicos Anastasiades During his official visit to the Kingdom.

The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Eman Ahmed Al-Dosari, and officials from both sides.

In media statements, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism stressed the importance of the meeting to exchange views on many issues, noting the need to benefit from the exchange of visits to enhance constructive cooperation between the two friendly countries.

For her part, the Cypriot Minister of Energy, Trade and Industry expressed her keenness to build on the results of her meeting with the Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism. She expressed her appreciation for the strategic plans and qualitative initiatives implemented by the Kingdom of Bahrain to develop the industrial and commercial sector
