Industry minister meets European Parliament of Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman

Manama, January 5 (BNA) Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani met with David McAllister, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament.

The meeting reviewed a number of topics related to economic affairs, which focus on joint economic relations and ways to enhance them, in addition to activating agreements between leaders of the private sector on both sides and benefiting more from their expertise.

Minister Al-Zayani affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen its relations in various international institutions and events aimed at strengthening global partnerships.

The minister highlighted the role of the private sector in consolidating relations and increasing commercial exchanges, referring to the offers made by the Bahrain government to investors from all over the world, which contributed to making it a destination and first choice for many projects.

He noted the facilitation measures taken by the government in order to strengthen the economic sector and encourage major projects to reside in Bahrain.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed his admiration for the remarkable progress made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields, especially economic and investment, and the government’s role in attracting global investments and pioneering projects.
