Manama, September 14 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, and Chairman of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, inspected the workflow at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center in Sakhir.
He was accompanied during the inspection visit by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning for Works Affairs Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayat and a number of officials.
The minister said that the new exhibition city represents one of the most important and vital strategic projects emanating from Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
He pointed out that this achievement will enhance Bahrain’s presence on the world map for exhibitions and conferences, attract major public and specialized events, and promote the Kingdom as a preferred destination for exhibitions, conferences and investments.
Al-Zayed said that tourism and projects in the Bahrain Tourism Zone will be further developed to enhance Bahrain’s strategic position on the global tourism map.
He stressed the crucial importance of the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors in supporting promising projects in Bahrain and maximizing their gains.
