Manama, December 11 (BNA): Riffa Views International School (RVIS) and the American University of Bahrain (AUBH) announced their partnership with MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) to host a program that will bring cutting-edge robotics. To Bahrain.
Scheduled to begin January, MIT students and alumni will start a high school workshop at RVIS, followed by a similar program at AUBH for college students.
Each organization will invite a selected number of students from all over Bahrain to participate in the programme. This initiative is part of MIT’s global outreach program and will be the first of its kind in the GCC region.
The MIT teaching staff will use the tools and creative workspaces of the RVIS Innovation Center and AUBH’s newly opened D-Lab to run the workshops.
Throughout their tenure, participants will also have the opportunity to interact with MIT and Harvard researchers who are at the forefront of innovation in their fields.
