Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak said that the process of development and improvement is continuing to obtain building permits and promote urban development.
He pointed out that the ministry is keen to review all observations and proposals to keep abreast of developments and to strengthen the relevant mechanism to ensure higher levels of services.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the President of the Bahrain Society of Engineers, Mazen Ahmed Al-Omran, officials of the Ministry and members of the Society attended to discuss coordination, construction procedures and urban development.
Al-Mubarak explained that the ministry is keen to coordinate with architectural engineering companies to develop mechanisms for issuing licenses and speeding up investment projects.
This will be in line with comprehensive urban development to support the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 by making the private sector a key partner for the development of the economy in Bahrain.
