iGA Chief chairs inaugural ‘Taqyeem 3’ Committee meeting

Manama, February 17 (BNA) The Chief Executive Officer of the Information and e-Government Authority, Muhammad Ali Al-Qaed, chaired the inaugural meeting of an evaluation committee following the issuance of Resolution (6) of 2022 restructuring it.

The meeting discussed the committee’s roles and developments related to the third cycle of the Government Service Centers Evaluation Program, which will be implemented until April 2022.

The Leader thanked His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for issuing the decree re-forming the committee. He congratulated the members for entrusting them with this important task, wishing them success and success, wishing them success and success, highlighting their experience and what they will present to the committee.

He commended the performance of the previous committee, and thanked the previous members for their hard work that helped make the second round of evaluations a success.

Then the committee discussed a set of items on the agenda, including the nomination of the Director-General of the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration (BIPA) Dr. Raed Mohammed bin Shams as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Ahmed Al-Awadi as Rapporteur.

They also discussed ways to improve the evaluation process in line with the vision of the new committee members and evaluation plans3. They reviewed the results of field visits that are scheduled to continue until the middle of this month. 88 customer service centers belonging to 18 government entities are visited as part of the current assessment cycle. The “Mystery Shopper” program will continue until the results are announced and the best centers are awarded. The media plan for the current session was also reviewed and how it could raise awareness of the committee’s objectives and evaluation criteria.

The meeting concluded by discussing the agenda of the next meeting, including the restructuring of the central team consisting of representatives of government agencies that do not provide direct services to the public.

Resolution No. (6) of 2022 issued on January 27, 2022 ordered the re-formation of an evaluation committee that will continue to be chaired by the leader and includes Dr. Raed Shams, Youssef Muhammad al-Binkhaleel, Dr. Hamad Ibrahim Abdullah and Osama. Saleh Hashem Al-Alawi, Sheikh Muadh bin Daij Al Khalifa, and Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Baqer, Nada Abdul-Majid Al-Qassab, Hussain Ali Al-Shehab, Fadila Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Akram, and Ahmed Abdul-Hay Al-Awadi.
