Manama, December 1 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received today Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality Affairs. Passports and Residence Affairs His Excellency Sheikh Hisham Al Khalifa at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness stressed the importance of continuing to develop government procedures that support initiatives aimed at attracting investment, which is one of the main priorities of the Kingdom’s economic recovery plan, which was launched in accordance with the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness congratulated His Excellency the Sheikh on his new appointment, by royal order, as Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, wishing him success in his endeavours.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to modernizing its regulatory frameworks and procedures to enhance government work streams for the benefit of promising sectors and citizens.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the role of utilizing modern technology in passenger procedures at Bahrain International Airport to improve travel and tourism to the Kingdom.
His Excellency Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, pointing to His Highness’ commitment to support the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom and all its agencies.
His Excellency Major General Sheikh Rashid indicated that His Royal Highness’ continuous support enhances the development of the Kingdom and the performance of the Ministry, which leads to more success.
For his part, His Excellency Sheikh Hisham expressed his honor to be appointed by royal order, and his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness.
