Manama, December 13 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Gudaibiya Palace, Secretary-General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Martin Chungong.
His Highness affirmed that Bahrain’s comprehensive development efforts led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa made the country a model for success.
His Royal Highness welcomed Mr. Chungong and noted his efforts to achieve the goals of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with regional and international institutions in order to support the Bahraini Legislative Council.
The Secretary-General expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, praised His Royal Highness’ commitment to strengthening international legislative cooperation, and wished Bahrain continued progress and growth.
