Manama, November 20 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, today met with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and his accompanying delegation. In the Manama Dialogue 2021.
His Royal Highness explained the strength of the long-standing Bahraini-US relations, as he received Defense Minister Austin and the delegation accompanying the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness also pointed out the importance of strengthening relations, especially in areas such as defense and security.
His Highness stressed that the international security community is witnessing an increasing importance to cooperatively confront global challenges.
His Highness praised the role of the United States in consolidating the pillars of security, stability and peace in the region, noting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s continuous support for the efforts made to enhance and maintain regional and international stability.
The topics of the Manama Dialogue’s agenda and its importance in enhancing regional and international security were also discussed.
