London, November 2 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with the Minister of Middle East and North African Affairs at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, The Rt Hon James. Smartly MP, on the sidelines of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), held in Glasgow, Scotland.
His Highness highlighted the strength of the historical relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom, which continue to be strengthened through cooperation and joint coordination in many areas of international importance.
His Royal Highness affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to join international efforts aimed at enhancing environmental security in cooperation with the United Nations and other multilateral organizations.
During the meeting, they discussed regional and international issues of common interest.
