Manama, June 3 (BNA): The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, received the CEO of the Bahrain Network (BNET) Ahmed Jaber Al-Dosari, with whom she discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides. He reviewed the national plan to expand fiber services in residential cities.
The meeting was attended by the CEO of the Urban Planning and Development Authority, Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayyat, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Asim Abdul Latif, and a number of officials.
The two sides reviewed housing projects that fall within the national plan of BNET to provide connectivity based on fiber.
They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation to meet fiber needs for current and future housing projects.
The BNET President thanked the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning and UPDA for their full cooperation with BNET by providing it with designs for infrastructure and residential projects.
